# Grit Bio（沙砾生物） to Present Next-Gen TIL Therapy Program GT202 at AACR 2022

Grit Bio （沙砾生物） will present GT202, a next-generation (tumor infiltrating therapy) TIL product, which was developed utilizing Grit’s proprietary TIL engineering platform StaViral®, at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting.

StaViral® is Grit’s proprietary viral system tailored for TIL engineering. It is a clinically validated viral engineering platform that allows efficient and stable viral transduction in TILs. Based on this platform, Grit has developed multiple next-generation gene-edited TIL pipelines.

**About GT202, the next generation TIL product developed using StaViral®**

GT202 enables stable expression of key cytokine on the surface of TILs by using an optimized viral vector. The design enhances the in vivo tumor killing and long-term survival of the TIL products.

In extensive preclinical studies, GT202 demonstrated significantly better tumor killing, cytokine release and TCR diversity than non-edited TIL. GT202 also produced better anti-tumor efficacy and long-term survival than non-edited TIL product in several mouse models.

Few companies have tried developing gene-edited TIL products due to technical difficulties such as complexities in TIL manufacturing and TIL engineering. With extensive industrial experience in T-cell therapy development, Grit team is currently leading the developmental progress for next-generation TIL to create a potentially best-in-class cell therapy for solid tumor patients.
